Sorry for That Bad Arithmetic, Of Course I know that Gettysburg was 148 Years Ago

A Book in Progress

Henry Brown Richardson was my great grandfather, and I am writing a book about him and his family. He was a handsome young man, judging by this picture taken about 1859 when he was 21 years old. He is one of the more interesting members of our family because he was a Yankee who fought for the South in the Civil War, even though his parents and other close relatives were strongly abolitionist in sentiment.

This blog will also be about the process of writing this book and the related thoughts and discoveries that come to me as I write. If you have any suggestions for me or information on related topics, please comment.
